TLV320AIC3109-Q1: TLV320AIC3109-Q1 Power On Sequence.

Part Number: TLV320AIC3109-Q1

Dear Sir,

From datasheet, we can see the power-on sequence is as below: It requires TIOVDD TAVDD TDVDD.

However, in customer design now, power supplies provide “IOVDD=DVDD=1.8V (connected directly)” and “AVDD=DRVDD=3.3V_Analog (connected directly)”.

But 3.3V_Analog is later than 1.8V about 47.9us, as below waveforms shown. That means AVDD is later than DVDD 47.9us which a little violates the datasheet spec..

Is this situation acceptable snice 47.9us is very small?

Thanks, Ian.

  • Ian,

it looks like AVDD is always greater than or equal to DVDD, so there would not be any leakage which is one of the main concerns for the timing.

Also as long as RESET is held low until the supplies are stable, the power up sequence is very flexible.

    best regards,
    -Steve Wilson
