Linux/PCM2903C: PCM2903C

Part Number: PCM2903C

Tool/software: Linux

hello,

im usign the PCM2903C codec on my system.

I saw on the data sheet (page 20 table 5) that it can be configured to sampling rate of 8KHz in 8bit mono mode using the "0E" mode.

i have no idea how to configure it to "0E". im using linux GENTOO on my system and the CODEC is connected via USB.

how do i address to the codec addresses via the USB? or any other way for that matter.

thank you

NIMROD

  • Hi, Nimrod,

The sampling rate and operation mode  of our USB-audio devices is set by the Operating system. As example, in Windows you can configure the codec sampling rate on the Recording devices window. Unfortunately I am not aware of the exact process to do this in Linux.
