TAS5825M: Speaker phases not synchronized with several amplifiers

Part Number: TAS5825M

Hi,

I have a system containing two TAS5825M amplifiers with two elements (bass, tweeter) each. I configure them over I2C from another processor as specified in the data sheet, with one of the amplifiers having a left channel configuration, and the other having a right channel configuration.

Sometimes, the amplifiers end up being out of phase (with regards to speaker phase - same as inverting +/- on a speaker element), and the only way to get them in phase again is to power cycle the amplifiers - simply reconfiguring them is not enough. It seems like it's more or less random what phase they end up using when starting up.

How am I supposed to get them in phase 100% of the time?

Thanks, Jacob
