Dear Sir,

I did as below step, Preset Configuration，then change "w 30 13 7C" to "w 30 13 04"。

It can using EVM on board MIC record but with huge noise as attach.

Could you ls help to check if I lose something setting?AIC3109_TEST2.wma

Are you using the onboard USB audio clocks? or are you using an External source?

Ian,

the file you emailed is pretty hard to hear any noise. it sounds like maybe you recorded it with your phone or something?

please try configuring the device again with the following script. It removes all of the unnecessary register writes that the AIC3104 does.
if you can use your computer to record directly to audacity that would be best. The mic will likely be quiet, if you want to boost the gain use register 0F.
