TAS5825M: PPC3 Header Files

Part Number: TAS5825M

Hello,

I have been trying to find information on what exactly the header files generated by PPC3 contain. Ideally I would like to tune my speakers through PPC3, and use the End System Integration tool to generate the proper header file. I have several questions about this.

1) Does the .cfg file contain only basic configuration information (i.e. book 0 information), or does it also contain the DSP tuning information? if it only contains configuration information, how do I generate a header file that also contains the DSP tuning info (such as eq settings, bass enchancement, etc.).

2) do all the file types contain all the same information? it seems like they all do, with the exception of the .eeprom file. Why is that, if it is supposed to configure the TAS5825M the same way as the other files types.

Ideally, I would like to avoid using the EEPROM, and just have my host microcontroller upload all of the configuration and DSP information via I2C. I can get my host micocontroller to write the I2C header information generated for the base/pro. I then made changes to the base pro (I changed the Equalizer to be a highpass) and generated a new header file. However, when i write the commands in this header file (.h format), the speaker sounds exactly the same as the base/pro (i.e. a default DSP tune). What do I need to do to have the header file contain my DSP information.

If you need me to clarify anything, please let me know
