Hi,

I'm reviewing the DualMic NC function of AIC3254 with PurePath v1.8 rev 10211.

The properties of this component dont match with the ones in the help.

Have you got any guide or app-note to use correctly?

I think that its a component very interesting, and i want to evaluate.

Carlos,

I see you are using version 1.8 of PurePath Studio. There are two things to check

1) Are you using PurePath Studio Portable Audio? There are two versions of "PurePath Studio" and the TLV320AIC3254 uses PurePath Studio Portable Audio. The other version of PurePath (non-portable audio) is in version 1.88 which leads me to think you may need to switch PurePath software.

2) or Upgrade PurePath Studio Portable Audio. The current version is 4.8 which has quite a few updates.

Hi Brian,

Sorry, there is a mistake in the first post.

The version of PurePath Studio Portable that I'm using is v4.80 build 1 rev 10211. (Not 1.8....sorry)

Thanks for being patient! I have attached a description of all the DualMic_NC properties for PPS v4.80. Please see the attached PDF and let me know if you have any questions. We will update the help file in future releases of PurePath Studio Portable Audio.

I am running PurePath Studio 5.95 build 1 (Portable Audio) I want to implement dual microphone adaptive noise reduction. Going through the components and examples, I have not been able to find the app note or any help on the dual mic noise reduction.

Do you know if this implementation is still supported for the ACI3254 ?

If so could you please point me to any documentation on how to get started with it ?

Unfortunately, we have discontinued support for this application area. Sorry.

I wish I could offer you an alternative, but AFAIK, TI is not active in this area.
