Hi, in the TPA3118D2 datasheet, Table 1 - Gain and Master or Slave, it defines R1 and R2 resistor values for setting the gain to 20, 26, 32, and 36 dB.
The text above the tables states "The first four stages set the GAIN in master mode to gains of 20, 26, 32, and 36 dB". Can the gain also be set to values other than these four fixed values by intermediate values of resistor, or are we stuck with these four fixed values of 20, 26, 32, and 36 dB?
You do not give a formula for calculating the gain, only this table with four fixed values. If I wanted an intermediate gain, say 29dB, what resistor value for R1 would be required, if R2 was 100KOhm? Are we looking at 27K, 30K, 33K?
