How to download the Pure Path console 3 for TAS2557EVM?

    I already submitted my request for PP console 3 answered questionnaire and purchased two modules TAS2557 evm with serial numbers 1831711 and 1131855. However still do not have any access to PP3 tuning SW.

    I got feedback from audio software team that you should have access now for PPC3 and TAS2557 app.
    Could you please confirm?

    Yea

    I got PP3 console however there is a problem 

    By checking HW I have had messages as

    Unable to playback from device A

    Unable to playback from device B

    PC re-booting, board changing and re-plug USA connection all do not help.

    The playback is OK but symptom like there is no EQ control.

    • Unable to playback audio from Device A

    • Unable to playback audio from Device B

    Could you share captures of what you're seeing in PPC3?
    Also if you could list the steps you follow it would be helpful for us to debug what you see, so far I cannot replicate your situation.

    Ivan,

    Unfortunately due to LGE security policy I cannot attach any screenshots. Furthermore I cannot follow your links in e-mail.

    The steps are standard:

    1. Connect USB cable

    2. Turn on Power 5 VDC

    3. Start PP3

    4. System check and follow the instructions

    Running Hardware Checks

    • Download successful to Device A

    • Download successful to Device B

    • Hardware ID is good

    • Audio sound card detected and unambiguous

    • Audio sound card sampling frequency is good

    • Unable to playback audio from Device A

    • Unable to playback audio from Device B

      However i can listen calibration tone from speakers.

    Have you set the volume of USB-AudioEVM to max?
    I found out that if the volume of the device is not max the system checks will fail at the last step.

    Thank you for your feedback and proposal.

    I checked with volume max 18 dB setting but problem still as before.

    The calibration tone audible from both channels without any distortions.

    But by changing EQ setting timbre does not change which means EQ does not work.

    Andrey,

    I meant the volume from your Operative System. The level for the EVM "sound card" should be set to 100 (max). Not the volume inside PPC3.

    Thanks this resolve the problem.

    Another issue whenever I apply EQ settings the timbre of the sound does not change.

    Seems to me the EQ does not take any effects.

    Do you have any hints to resolve the issue?

    The EQ should work fine, once again, could you confirm your procedure steps?
    If you're using Dual Mono mode, you must consider that each channel has its own gain and EQ settings.

    It resolved the problem. EQ also works fine.
