LM4865: About current consumption during standby

Part Number: LM4865

Hello Expert.
Thank you for your support ever day.

I have a question about LM4865M.

<Question>
Is this device regulated on the current consumption during standby on the data sheet?

I received the following question from my customer.
At a measurement point, there are parts that flow more than 230 μA.
In the customer's circuit, it is 100 μA as standard.
Is this value of 230 μA an abnormal value?
VDD is used at 3.7V.

Best,Regars.

  • Hi Fukazawa-san,

Pretty much all the information available of this device is included in the data sheet. Perhaps there is a slight variation at some components of the board?
The data sheet provides a typical quiescent current value, and the measured current value you mention is actually lower than the spec, so I would say that both values look good.

  • Hello  Ivan-san.

    Thank you for your reply!!
    My customers also understood.

Please let me check one point at the end.
What is the maximum value of the shutdown current?

    Best,Regars.

  • Fukazawa-san,

Data sheet provides only provides typical value for shutdown current, please see the below extract from data sheet:
