TAS5825M: Snubber circuit

Hi,

A customer is worried about whether they can suppress EMC without Snubber circuit.
There is no description of Snubber circuit, in either TAS5825M datasheet nor TAS5825MEVM User's Guide.

Q1. Does TI not recommend Snubber circuit to TAS5825M?
Q2. Could you tell us what TI is concerned about, when Snubber circuit is added to TAS5825M output?

Hi Ito-san,
if you are using inductors in the output filter, the snubber circuit is necessary. TAS5825M should pass EMI test easily with LC filter configuration.
But you could also reserve the circuit in DNP as a tuning option on the board. The snubber circuit doesn't affect the audio performance but increase a little power consumption.
