PCM1804: Effect of different system clocks

Part Number: PCM1804

Hello,

I used this part in my previous project, which I set it to be Master, Dual rate, 384Fs, 96K sampling. But due to my system clock of 36MHz (instead of 36.864MHz) that I gave it, I got a proportionally lower Fs and everything else like BCK, LRCK, but it has been working fine, all frequencies were scaled down proportionally that was all.

Now in the new project I would like to use the same part, but I have a much different clock frequency, a 30MHz clock (instead of 24.576MHz), I intend to give it this clock, set it to be Master, Dual rate, 96K, 256Fs. With the 30MHz clock, will it work and produce a proportionally higher Fs = 117.1875KHz (and BCK, LRCK)?

Thanks

Hue
