With my team, I am designing a wearable device that should have the ability to record sound using microphone and playback it over the spekaer. We have selected your codec as a suitable one and have made the first schematic diagram. Since we already used microphones for the beamforming hardware, we would like to use the same part number for the wearable device. On the beamforming EVM TI ref design, we have found the interconnection between PCM1684 and the SPH1642H microphone. We have connected the microphone in the same way and used MIC_BIAS to power the microphone. The I2C signals are pulled up on another schematic sheet. The schematic diagram is bellow, and I would like to know whether is correct.
