CCS/TAS5805M: Purepath Console for TAS5805M

Audio Software team,

I have PPC 3.1.1 installed.  I would like to connect the TAS5805M EVM, but PPC doesn’t appear to be working.  When I click Available EVM Apps, the GUI stays empty.  When I click Installed EVM Apps to Download the Platform Update (not sure if this is necessary), it says Failed to Download.

Under My Secure Software, it says I have access to TAS5825-SW, but there are only PDFs there.

What am I doing wrong?  Or do I need to be granted access?

    Hi Darren,

    You need to apply for access to TAS5805 and TAS5825. I will give you the access with you myTI account and you will receive the e-mail.
    Usually, please just go www.ti.com for the request for your customers.

    Hi again Alix,

    Thanks for granting me access. I managed to get it installed, but I'll share a couple things in case it helps someone in the future.

    I had previously installed PurePath Console back in July 2018. It was version 3.1.3 build 247. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it (as Administrator). This didn't help. Then I went to mySecureSoftware and downloaded the latest version which I saw was from Sep 2018. Installed it as Administrator. It's v 3.1.3, build 255. This time it worked. I could see my available TAS5805M App, installed it and opened it.

    I still haven't connected the EVM. :-)

    By the way, I'm not sure what you mean about going to ti.com to request access to the App. I went to the Product Page and the EVM Product Page, and don't see a link there to Request Access. Maybe I'm just missing it.

    Hi Darren,

    If you cannot connect to EVM board, please check whether audio driver is installed or not. Please see : e2e.ti.com/.../2823355 for more details.

    BTW, usually, the driver above will be installed automatically. But somehow, on certain conditions, it does not. Then, please install manually.
