PCM2906C: Is simultaneous recording and playing of different audio streams supported?

Can the PCM2906C be used to simultaneously record one audio stream using the analog input while playing a different stream through the analog output?

    Welcome to e2e Forum!

    As far simultaneous use case goes, unfortunately it cannot handle both streams at the same time. Would you be open to discrete solution? Please let me know more details on the system spec goes along w any applicable constraints, and we will do our best to identify the right parts for you.

    Really? What is the limitation? The sample rates supported by the chip are well within what is possible with Full Speed (12 Mbps) USB, and nothing in the data sheet says that both the OUT and IN audio-streaming endpoints cannot be active at the same time.
