TLV320AIC3104: I/O Audio Serial Bus Interface doubts

Part Number: TLV320AIC3104

HI,

I have some doubts how the Audio serial interface works. I´ve read the related information in the datasheet but I´m still having some doubts. The idea is to use two channels of the codec either right or left channel. In each channel the signal goes out to the microprocessor by means of the audio serial bus interface defining the registers 8, 9 and 10. I can see the output in the left channel but I can´t see in the right one, so I can deduce that I have some problems with the inputs/outputs of the Audio Seral bus interface. Is there any register in which I can activate or deactivate the different appropiate paths (DOUTL, DOUTR, DINR, DINL)?

According to the serial bus interface outputs, there is only one external input (DIN) and one output (DOUT), if I have both channels working at the same time, how does the serial bus interface know which to use?

Regards,
