TPA6211A1-Q1: Stability against output capacitor

Part Number: TPA6211A1-Q1

Hello all,

I have a question about the stability against output capacitor between GND on this device. Until what capacitance on output is this device able to be stable?

Thank you,
RYO

  • Hi Ryo,

From a previous similar question on e2e, we could say that it is safe at least up to 1uF: https://e2e.ti.com/support/legacy_forums/automotive/f/26/p/525910/1937952#1937952
This is a differential Class-AB amplifier that does not require output filter or output coupling capacitors. What are you trying to drive with this amp?

In addition, there is PSPICE and TINA models so you can test your specific use case.
