LM3886: Inverting circuit question

Part Number: LM3886

As a rule of thumb in op amps, the inverting configuration usually has lower distortions than the non-inverting circuit because the inputs are not flying around.  Does this apply to the LM3886?   There aren't any distortion graphs for the inverting circuit, only when in a bridge configuration with the non-inverting circuit - and it does look like it has lower distortion than the parallel non-inverting circuit.
