Tool/software: Linux
“tlv320aic3106” audio codec is chosen.
6 different audio inputs either from Radio or from telephone are fed as input to the chosen audio
codec.
Since there are only 2 ADCs in the chosen codec, how 6 different real time audio analog signals
will be converted into digital simultaneously without loss of audio signal or without noise due to
6 real time audio inputs? All the 6 audio inputs have to be processed simultaneously.
Similarly how more number of digitized audio (from 6 different sources simultaneously) are sent
to the chosen codec to play through 6 different speaker / head phone ports without the loss of
single sample from any of the 6 different real time simultaneous sources when we have only 2
DACs in the chosen codec?
OR
Even though the CODEC can support 10 audio inputs and 7 audio outputs, At a time, maximum
how many audio inputs and audio outputs can be handled simultaneously?
If simultaneously all the 10 audio inputs and 7 audio outputs can be handled, then how to do? If
any reference code to demonstrate this is available, you are requested to share.
Or how to configure the CODEC to process 10 simultaneous real time audio input signals? Pls
provide the details?
3 codecs are used in one card. 16 such cards are in one unit. There are 2 units in one system.
Every year more than 100 systems are required to be delivered. For this year before june,
delivery should happen. Only this CODEC module design is pending. By considering the
business potential, you are kindly requested to share the code or details to understand and
resolve the issue.
Thanks,
