PUREPATH-CMBEVM: Unknown Device - Reprogramming required?

Hi,

I have a PUREPATH-CMBEVM (Issue G) + TAS5766MRMTEVM combination and had it working a few days ago. Unfortunately, when I now plug in the USB it is coming up as an unknown device so the Console 3 software won't connect to it.

Do I have a faulty board or could it potentially be fixed with a reprogramming? Some other posts here suggest it may be possible?

I've tried the board on two PCs now with the same result.

Hi Colin,

I suppose there is something wrong with the driver or USB cable. Will you replace with a new cable or re-install the TAS1020 driver?

New cable tried with the same problem.

What TAS1020 driver? What is it for? Where does it come from?

I've been using the Pure Path Console 3 software. It comes with a driver but it doesn't appear to be used with the Common Motherboard.

I have also tried the hardware on two different PCs and also uninstalled and reinstalled the Console 3 software so it is unlikely to be a problem there.

I have no idea.. i also met this problem before, the simple solution is to test with a new board.. Do you have any other board can try?
