I am working on a new Subwoofer design and looking for a suitable processor - please help.
General info:
fs= 48kHz or 44.1kHz
Tunable low-pass filter with e.g. 80 or 100Hz cutoff and 80dB attenuation.
Elliptical IIR filters do the job but numerical accuracy in fixed point is not enough, that is the assumption today.
Processor Requirements:
- I2S slave
- Low cost Floating Point for IIR filters
- Potentially available internal memory options?
Please advice suitable processors for this design, looking forward to your reply!
