LM1875T/NOPB
Actually, we want to ask a question about LM1875 specification. Please support.
We try to design speaker amplifier with specification as below:
- Power Output : 20 W
- ±B Voltage : 25V
- Load : 4 Ω
Unfortunately, when we implement temperature rise test, the Output of Power is running OFF and ON repeatedly.
At those time, we set the Output to 12W (Vo=7V, R=4Ω).
And the temp rise is about 88℃ at LM1875’s case (die).
We check to your specification, at thermal protection mentioned that LM1875 will shut down when the temp rise reaches 170℃.
For the matter, please teach us the detail of proper usage of LM1875 IC.
