PCM5122: Differences from PCM5102A

Part Number: PCM5122
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM5102A,

Hello,

From reviewing the datasheets for the PCM5102A and PCM5122, the only difference appears to be that the 5122 has SPI/12C control. Am I correct, or did I miss something?

Furthermore, I understand that Zero Data detection can be fully disabled on the 5122 via the ATMUTECTL register -- if that's correct, the DAC will remain active, right?

I want to switch my design from the 5102A to the 5122 solely so that I can keep the DAC active when no data is being passed from my I2S source.

Thanks!
