We have some design question need check with you on below. Thanks for help~
1. As shown in the figure below, TPA3131 design with 4 ohm speaker, PLIMIT is 8W, what is the voltage and voltage divider resistance?
2. TPA3131 default has a minimum gain of 10 times AMP, and general codec default outputs 1.2Vrms to AMP.
After calculation [(Vin*Gain)^2/R]=Output power = 18W@8ohm/ 36W@4ohm
But the TPS3131 has a PLIMIT function of 4W@8ohm /8W@4ohm
What are the reasons for the specifications according to TPS3131?
3. Does the TPA3131 PLIMIT have an opportunity to make adjustments? Because the blue line is blocked.
4. What design is used to limit output power?
5. Please explain MASTER / SLAVE mode?
