TAS5825M: Ferrite beads part # for TAS5825M inductor free operation and the chance of inductor free operaiton with D-Amp which unsupported inductor free

Part Number: TAS5825M

Hello Professional,

I asked about Inducutor free operation at below E2E thread and I received new 2 questions regarding this.

https://e2e.ti.com/support/audio/f/6/t/792449

First is Could you provide the part# of proper Ferrite beads which was confirmed about passing PE EMI test?

Second is that there chance of Inductor free operation with D-AMP which was not certified about Inductor free?

This question is from that customer guessed it has the chance of inductor free operaiton with unsupported D-AMP if the reason of unsupported is that just not confirmed.

Best regards,

Kazuki Kuramochi

  • Hi Kazuki-san,

TI labeled inductor free amps have state-of-te-art EMI reduction techinicals, such as spread spectrum modulation, Dephase, and edge rate control to make sure there is enough margin during EMI standard test.

On the other hand, EMI result is also highly realted to system power quality and PCB layout design, and we do not gurantee the unsupported D-AMPs will have enough margin to pass EMI test.

As for recommended beads, please send me a email (matthew-miao@ti.com), then we will provide the verified beads.

    Rdgs,
    Matthew
