Part Number: TAS5756M
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5768M, TAS5766M, PCM5242

Tool/software: Linux

Hi TI,

We have a question about TAS5756M Class-D amplifier.

Does TAS5756M have the feature DRC (Dynamic Range Control) to improves the overall listening experience?

We don't see there is any description that is about DRC on TAS5756M datasheet so we file this case to make sure.

Thanks.

  • hello,

does it mean you want to use intel chip as host and TAS5766 as Class-D amplifier, you need TAS5766 Linux driver to use Intel platform to drive?

we have below Linux driver for your reference, to implement into intel platform, you may still need your intel linux writer to support you implement

    TAS5766 config.

Linux Driver for TAS5766M and TAS5768M (SmartAmp Mode).zip:

If the TAS5766M or TAS5768M device in your system is running in Basic Mode, please refer to the driver below.
