TLV320DAC3100-Q1: Delay time from 0x47[7]=1 until having beep sound from SPKx outputs

Hello,

My customer would like to know the delay time from 0x47[7]=1(beep generator enabled) until having beep sound from SPKx outputs.  Would you please tell me that?

    Kawasaki-san,

    You would need to consider the initialization time of the beep generator and the SPK outputs.

    It takes around 10 BCLK pulses to get the beep generator and the processing blocks fully operating. It would depend of the frequency of the BCLK that the customer is using.

    For example, if customer is using a BCLK = 3.072MHz, then the beep generator takes T = 10 x (1/BCLK) = 3.25us to be fully operating.

    In addition, it takes around 5ms from DAC unmute to output playback in SPKx outputs.
