Linux/TAS6424L-Q1: Linux Kernel version

Dear Team,

My customer is working with TAS6424L-Q1. They are now trying to integrate the part into their Linux system. Open source drivers are supported from Linux Kernel version 4.16, but they currenty use version 4.14.98. How could it be possible to use open source drivers with this version?

This is a good question. The customer can see if it compiles with the Kernel you specify. These are open source and I am not familiar with them. I will need to make some inquiries to our EP team and see if they know if they will compile.

Hi Gregg,

They have already tried to compile the drivers on the version they are trying to use, but it did not work. Could you please advise how can we help enable them to use the drivers available on the Kernel version they are using?
