Hi!

Please telll me the way,how to change the DSP coeff while power-on.

I'm worrying about pop noise if I would change the DSP coef of TAS5805M.

Is it better to operate shutdown prodecures before the change?

hello,

please see datasheet page43 startup sequence. you will see DSP co-efficient will be written after device startup and device settle ready. it will not generate pop.

thanks for your replying.

I've understood the procedure.

However, at the point of shutdown, is it necessary to set Output Hi-Z via I2C command against pop noise?

Now I'm desiging the circuit, if it would be necessary, I shall check the PVDD level and try to use voltage detector.

Hi Edgard,

TAS5805 can be set into Hiz through both I2C configuration or PDN. So if SOC can generate Hiz commend before shutdown, there is no need for extra PVDD voltage detector.

As for on-line changing DSP parameters during playing music, it's better to set into hiz, changing DSP parameters, then back to play.
