TPA3251: TPA3251 at 20hms load

Part Number: TPA3251

Hello

We are planning to use TPA3251 in a new amplifier project. I need to ask you to confirm that this amplifier can work well and stably with 2ohms loads and meet the output power requirements (75W*4CH@2ohms, 1%THD). I cannot find the 2ohms data in the datasheet. Thanks a lot.

  • Hi Mr Analog,

I'm assuming when you say 4CH you mean 4CH on one device?  If that's the case then you will be using SE mode which does support 2ohm load.  You can find 2ohm data one page 12 of the TPA3251 datasheet. Specifically Figure 10 shows that with a 2ohm load you can get around 70W of output power at 1% THD.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,
