TAS2559: TAS2559 source code error and PPC3 I2C slave address2 menu

Part Number: TAS2559

HI

My customer is under development with TAS2559, but I have some problems and send mail.

Source Code is under development with reference to TAS2559 Android driver.

1. An error message occurred during the test as below.

* Error message

In what cases can these error messages occur?

2.I2C slave address is 1 or 2 as shown in the figure below.

If I do not enter Slave Address 2,

I can not go to the next step. What exactly is the function of Slave Address2?

What value should we put if we do not use Slave Address2?

Please check it.

Thank you

Best Regards

From Anthony

  • Hi!

Thank you for your support.Have you checked my inquiry yet?

I am sorry, but my client's development schedule is tight and I need to confirm quickly.

    I ask for your understanding.

    Please check it.

    Thank you.

    Best regards.

    From Anthony.

  • Hi Anthony,

The error you're seeing could be cause by an abnormal reset pin pull-down. The error means that the device was reset unexpectedly.

You can leave the slave address 2 as it is, or if it causes problems with another device that shares the same address, you can change it to one that is not used, like 0x00. I'll verify if we have a version that can export a single device file instead of stereo.
