Part Number: TAS2562YFPEVM-DC
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS2562, , PCM1861EVM, PCM1861, PPC3-EVM-MB

Hi,

I have installed Pure path console 3 software and im not able to see any apps related to TAS2562.

there is only a generic I2C app.
I have TAS2562YFPEVM-DC so please help me to connect this EVM to the console. Im connecting the EVM to PC through a USB-i2X board.

Please help to get TAS2562 App and PCM1861EVM

Thanks in advance,

sakthi

  • H Sakthi,

You may have been granted access to PPC3 but not for TAS2562 app. Can you send me the email address you used to request access to PPC3?
I can double check and grant you access to the app.

In addition, do you have the PPC3-EVM-MB board? You need to mount TAS2562EVM on top of PPC3 motherboard to connect with PPC3.

TAS2562 uses PurePath Console 3, but PCM1861 use PurePath Console 2.

  • Hi Ivan,

    sakthiyanandan.mp@vvdntech.in is my mail ID

Please grant access to TAS2562YFPEVM-DC and PCM1861EVM.

I dont have PPC3-EVM-MB board, Im using generic USB to I2X board.

    Thanks and regards

    sakthi

  • Sakthi,

You have access for TAS2562 app and also to PurePath Console.

For TAS2562, you must first install PurePath Console 3, and then download/install TAS2562 app within PPC3.

For PCM1861, you must install PurePath Console 2, which is a different software than PPC3, but you have access already.

If you don't have PPC3-EVM-MB, you may be able to generate a configuration for TAS2562 using PPC3, and use I2X board to write into the device registers using I2C master. But you would not be able to configure the device in real-time while connecting through USB.
Ideally TAS2562 should be mounter on the mother board for full device evaluation.
