TAS2505-Q1: When not using analog input

Hi TI-team

When not using analog input The data sheet has the following description.

"Not used, they must be shorted together"

Does this mean to short AINL and AINR ?
May I do not need to short to GND?

Hayashi-san,

When the AINL and AINR inputs are not used, each input should be connected to a 0.1uF to 0.47uF capacitor to analog ground.

In this case, I think AINL and AINR are high impedance until I write register, are there any problems ?

Hi, Hayashi-san,

You are correct, when the analog inputs AINL and AINR are not configured, they are placed in high-impedance. There shouldn't be any problem if they are not being used.
