TAS5751M: Recommended Startup and Shutdown Procedures

Part Number: TAS5751M

Hello,

When look at "Recommended Startup and Shutdown Procedures", I2C communication should be started  10usec after from PVdd>8V.

However "RESET Timing" drawing shows I2C activation start timing relationship between RESET only.

Our customer made confusion from both requirement.

In our understanding, PVdd is just provided to H-Bridge, no relation between I2C block. Can we start I2C communication without PVdd ramping up?

Also can we assert PDN control during any timing of D-amp activation?

Because "Recommended Startup and Shutdown Procedures" showed PDN is right after of RST release and right after of RST assert.

It is difficult to get benefit of PDN function.

  • hello Mochizuchi-san,

/PDN function is to prepare the device for power down, it is recommended to be turned on when AVDD reaches 3V to prepare the PWM stages for work.

it think it should be ok to assert PDN control when AVDD is stable during D-samp activation.

I2C functinal normally be independent of PVDD. will let Matthew double confirm and back to you.

    Regards

    Linda
