After having reinstalled my computer to Windows 10 I cannot complete hardware checks from PurePath Console and thus not jump to the tuning process.

The Motherboard is correctly shown as a sound card in Windows' Device Manager and I can connect from PurePath with out any error message.

I have tried all combinations of two samples of the motherboard combined with TAS5766MDCAEVM and TAS5766MRMTEVM respectively - same result.

Hi,

Please make sure Sound setting USB-AudioEVMis set to default device, and also Advanced Properties select 16bit 48000Hz format as below:

Hi Matthew,

Thank you for a prompt reply. Unfortunately I cannot complete the recommended actions - when opening 'Line Properties/Advanced' the dropdown box is locked/greyed out and thus fixed to 16 b @ 44.1 kHz.

How do I unlock the setting? Or is it locked by the connected Motherboard?

Hi,

It's suggested to Uninstall Device through below instruction. Power off PPCMB, then re-connect USB to PC. The driver will be automatically installed again.

Hi,

I've tried to uninstall and reinstall as described above. Doesn't solve the issue.

Have even tried to install Purepath on another PC (Running Win 10) - same issue here :-(

Is Purepath not compatible with Win 10?
Can it be the case that both my EVM Motherboards are defect or software obsolete??

Maybe I should try to find a Win 7 PC to see if this makes any difference??

BTW: The actual PurePath version is v3.0.6 (Build 61)

When now trying to install on a third computer (Win 7) I get the error message below :-(

Is MCR related to MatLab Compiler Runtime??

A full MatLab installation is present on one of the three computers. No MatLab on the other..

Hi Matthew!

i have a similiar problem as a TS. I followed all steps, installed MCR. And it seems like, everything works fine, i2c, sound via USB. But errors in hardware check mode are very annoying.

I have win10, PUREPATH-CMBEVM rev.G , TAS5751MEVM, TAS5825MEVM-SB.

Hi Makauskas,

Could you capture current Hardware Checks result? It's the same as before?

What's more, please try to use another internet connection. Sometimes companies' IT block PPC3 access.

Hi,

As for incorrect default sampling frequency / unable to record / playback, did you follow PPC3 right panel suggestions to modify PC Sound setting?

If already checked and still report this issue, it's suggested to send me email (matthew-miao@ti.com). I will loop software team to check.
