TAS5756M: PPC2 can support dual stereo(2.2 mode) with TAS5756M ?

Hi,

I am doing acoustic tuning with PPC2 + TAS5756M (our designed PCB with 2pcs of TAS5756M , 4 speakers output with 4 independent signals)

But PPC2 seems support 2.1 mode(stereo + Mono) only...

is there any method for setting dual stereo mode with 1pcs of PPC mother board on PPC2?

Or should i use 2pcs of PPC mother board for dual stereo ?

Hi CB,

Unfortunately, the U2 device on the TAS5756MDACEVM has been designed to work in PBTL mode only. Also, PPC2 doesn't support dual stereo tuning.

You have to use two TAS5756MDACEVM and two PurePath Consome Mother boards.

Could you take a look at TAS5782M, which is pin to pin compatible with TAS5756M? TAS5782MEVM and PPC3 can support dual stereo as you require.
