TPA3221

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA3221

Dear TI

My TPA3221 in btl mode, only one load will have a small amount of abnormal noise in the high-pitched part, detecting the waveform of the output inductor. When the treble occurs, the waveform will increase by 2V when it is relatively normal. How can I solve this problem by connecting only one output load in BTL mode?

       Thank!

  • Hi,

So your problem is there is some noise when playing high frequency music? Where did you probed the waveform? Before or after the inductor? Could you post the schematic and waveform here?

    Thanks.

    Regards,

    Hao

Noise is generated when playing a large signal. It is a waveform tested at the front end of the inductor. The accessory is a schematic. I will not have this problem if I connect a 220 ohm resistor to the other output. Please check if there is a problem with the design. Is the problem that the chip would havetpa3221电路图.pdf

  • Hi,

What do you mean by "I will not have this problem if I connect a 220 ohm resistor to the other output"? In BTL mode TPA3221 can support to speaker channels, do you mean that if 220Ohm connected on the other speaker channel(220Ohm connected as a speaker), the noise will disappear? In other word, the noise only appear at the case where two speakers are connected, right?
