Hi,

My customer is using TAS2563 and having some problem of calibration:

PPC3 version:

Hardware check failed:

IV measurement failed:

Can you help us to see where is the root cause of the failure currently?

Customer had also test with other TAS2563YBGEVM, but the fail items are the same.

Please let us know if further information needed.

Hi,

Have you configured USB-AudioEVM both Playback and Recording sampling frequencies to 48000Hz? If you connect a speaker to the output during System Checks, do you hear a tone?

Hi Luis:

I have configured USB-AudioEVM both Playback and Recording sampling frequencies to 48000Hz, but IV measurement was still fail and I don't hear any tone when I do system check.
The special thing is that TAS2557 can use this learning board to calibrate this speaker successfully.
I would like to ask if there is a newer version of the TAS2563 app?

Could you also verify if the USB-AudioEVM is configured as default device?

Regarding your question about the TAS2563, the newest version was released in March 2019. Do you have this version? You may download it directly from mySecureSoftware website:

Hi Luis:

I have tried to set USB-AudioEVM to default device, the IV measurement failed too,

and we try to use other computers to use the same method, the IV measurement failed too.

In terms of EVM board, I re-install PPC3 and TAS2563 apps and update both to latest version,

but the IV measurement is still showing: Device write to Learning Board 2 failed.

The version of PPC3 and TAS2563 we use are below:

So you also can't successfully use the "TAS2563 app version 3.0.0" to complete the speaker calibration?

Yes, we cannot perform the speaker calibration in the version 3.0.0. It seems that there is another version that actually supports this. But we need to confirm it. We are trying to get this new software. We will send it to you once we test it in our side.
