TLV32DAC3100 EVM Driver

I am trying to run this EVM on my XP machine. The CodecControl SW ( http://www.ti.com/litv/zip/slac366a) does not support the DAC3100 device, or recognize the EVM. When I plug the EVM into my USB port, the PC recognizes it as a "USB miniEVM", but cannot locate a driver. Can anybody hellp me find the missing driver? Also, is there another version of the CodecControl SW that directly supports the DAC3100?

Please use the attached SW.

The EVM doesn't require a driver - it uses the MS HID USB driver for control and USB class audio for sound. If you install the attached SW, CodecControl should automatically detect the EVM.

The EVM may not require a driver, but when I plug it into my USB port, the Found New HW Wizard appears anyway seeking a driver. There is a pop-up identifying the device as a USB mini-EVM... but the CodecControl SW does not seem to interact with the EVM in anyway. Itried to assign the HID driver to the EVM, but the USBUART.inf cannot be found. If it matters, I am running WindowsXP SP3.

Any other advice on getting the EVM to run?

Do you ever find a fix? I have the same issue with a tlv320aic26evm. Also on Xp SP3

Hi,

I downloaded the attachment from D. Hartl, however it doesn’t seem to contain simulation for DAC3100, the closest supported EVM being of DAC3001.
Does register settings for the two differ, or they are register compatible?
