IC for audio MP3/AAC encoding with SPI interface

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320C5517, OMAP-L138, TMS320C6748, OMAPL138

Hey guys!

I need to make an MP3 (or AAC) encoder so it can be connected to Raspberry Pi over SPI interface. Ideally, I will also need an ADC.

The idea is to convert an audio into MP3/AAC and hand it over to Raspberry Pi (SPI), so it would create an .mp3 file.

Are there such an IC's and/or reference desings?

I need to point out that it must be a minimum possible power consuming solution.

Thank you.
