PCM9211: DIT Source Selection

Hi,

Is the AUXIN2 setting value on page 90 of PCM9211 datasheet is not 100 but 101?
I selected MPIO_B as DIT source on PCM9211EVM-U GUI, but the change failed. Recorded command was 'w 80 60 45'.
I thought SCK(MCLK) wad not changed, so, I sent 'w 80 60 55' command. I succeeded changing the source this time.
Is it a bug or a GUI specification that does not switch SCK (MCLK)?

    Hi Akio,

    You are correct that there is a typo in the datasheet and AUXIN2 setting should be 101 for both registers.

    This is a good catch. When you change the DIT source in the GUI to AUXIN2 the 'w 80 60 45' command changes the SCK to AUXIN2, however it does not adjust the other register which selects the source for BCLK, LRCLK, and Data. This is default set to AUXIN1. Writing 'w 80 60 55' selects AUXIN2 for all of the clocks and data. Unfortunately I do not see a way to make the GUI issue this write.
