TLV320AIC3104: pop noise when setting gain

Hi Team,

We are using TLV320AIC3104 in headset products, using below configuration. The system can play music normally.

However we can hear pop noise when changing the gain value of MIC or PGA. What we do is making AIC3104 play music and only change the PGA gain(reflash R15 register), then we can hear a pop noise at headset side. We have tried Register 19/22 and 42, but it seems nothing improved. Could you help to comments fo lower pop? Much thanks.

What values were the Registers 19,22 and 42 set to? Can you try and set Register 40 to 0x10?

Hi Aaron,

We try to set R19_D[1:0] to 00 or 01(similar to R22), and R42_D[7:2] to all value. R42 can help to reduce the pop when IC power up, but still not work for playing music.

We have tried and set R42 to 0x10/0xC1/0x01 but still nothing improved. Any other method? If not we have to look for alternate solution.
