TAS5720A-Q1: About half-bridge configuration

Hi team,

A customer asks a question about the bridge configuration of TAS5720A-Q1.

Is it possible not to use either spk_out(+/-) in TAS5720A-Q1, to remove one of two inductors? In that case, either speaker(+/-) will be connected to GND. Is the configuration available or not?

Hi Alix,

Thank you for your info. It seems that TAS5711 suppots SE mode.

How about TAS5720A-Q1? The datasheet doesn't mention SE mode, but can SE mode configuration be implemented basically? Otherwise, it's not supported?

Is it automotive application?

If so , i would not recommend SE configuration. Can you list customer's EE and spec?
