TPA3111D1: FAULT AND SD pin to 0V when i connect Plimit to gVdd

Hi,

I can't make the TPA3111D1 work correctly. When i connect gVdd to plimit the TPA3111D1 shutdown (SD and FAULT pin to 0V) but when i let the plimit floating the TPA3111D1 starts. And when i start the TPA3111D1 with plimit floating and then i connect plimit to gVdd, the TPA3111D1 works correctly with no output limitation. I also try to put 2V at plimit but the amplifier doesn't start. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Pierre,

What's the input signal? Did you decrease the input signal level to check?

And what's the rate current of output inductors?

Please share the schematic if possible.

Hi,

Thanks for the response. I tried with no signal at the in port but the problem is still there. I don't have the current at the output inductor. But the problem just disappear when i let the pin 9 GVDD floating. This is the schematic that i use :

Hi Pierre,

Did you check the C6 1uF cap?

Only one device or all devices have the issue?
