Hi,

I found a post on the your forum regarding a Linux driver for TAS5805 amplifier.

I'm trying to implement this driver on a Raspberry Pi

(Linux raspberrypi 4.19.75+ #1270 Tue Sep 24 18:38:54 BST 2019 armv6l GNU/Linux)

But when I'm trying to build the driver it does not recognize function as "snd_soc_kcontrol_codec" etc. (see attached picture)

Is there any updated driver for TAS5805 for the latest Linux kernel?

That's exactly the same driver I was referring to. You just linked the same driver. Doesn't solve my problem :)

Hello Jimmy,

We do not have an updated driver for the latest Linux Kernel. The code we provided should we used as reference to help your engineers and developers interface with our device as we do not continuously update the example driver for the latest Linux kernel.

Please refer to linux documentation and resources for differences in the Linux sound subsystem across kernel updates.
