PCM2704C: Asking for the recommendation on PCM2704C design

Hi Team,

Customer is looking for PCM2704C design on the output cap. Can customer uses 22uF cap on the output stage instead of 100uF? Can tune other value by resistor if using smaller capacitor?

Would you please recommend the proper solution for this?

    Hi SHH,

    A 22uF is fine for the circuit. This cap creates a high-pass filter, and now the cutoff frequency will increase, but I unless you are specifically targeting super low bass response, I think you are fine.
