TLV320AIC3104-Q1: Analog output is distorted.

Hello Sherry,

The data sheet spec max input is 2Vpp in SE mode. We typically see a positive gain error of ~.8dB which would lower the input to ~1.82Vpp.

Since you are showing analog in and analog out, is the customer using a bypass path?

No, they use analog in and analog out to find where the distortion comes from? The signal goes through the ADC and DAC.

Hi Aaron,

When the customer changed the page 0 15 &16 registers from 0x14 to 0x0C, the distortion disappears.

When the registers 15(page 0)=0x14 & registers 16(page 0)=0x14, the analog output is as below, the maximum voltage is around 2.5V which is smaller than 3.3V(DAC's power supply), but I don't know why this waveform will distort.

When the registers 15(page 0)=0x0C & registers 16(page 0)=0x0C, the analog output is as below, and the distortion disappears.
