TAS2557: How does TAS2557 map the left channel and right channel data into one output?

Part Number: TAS2557
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV320ADC3101

Hello again, dear Audio Team,

the TAS2557 receives left channel and right channel audio data via the I2S ASI.
That data is generated by a stereo ADC TLV320ADC3101.
We intend to output L+R audio signals to one speaker in a mono way.
But i can't find the information, how the TAS2557 handles the L and R channel audio signals from the I2S input
during DAC processing and routing them to the class D amp.

Could it be, that the TAS2557 is already mixing those signals together to a mono output signal that drives the class D amp?

Could it be that there's nothing more to do?
If not, please point me to how to configure the TAS2557 to do it that way.

Kind regards

Andreas Paulin
