Hi,
I'm new to using the TLV320AIC3110 and have been trying to get basic headphone operation working using the Example Register Setup to Play Digital Data Through DAC and Headphone/Speaker Outputs documented in section 7.3.10.14 ( p64-65 ) of the datasheet. As I as going through the example I noticed an odd set of instructions. I'm wondering what the purpose of the 4th and 5th last instructions are?
They read:
w 30 00 08
w 30 01 04
From my understanding this would mean, change to page 8 then write 0x04 to register 1. However register 1 in page 8 is reserved with a note "Reserved. Do not write to this register." Am I missing something or is this instruction incorrect? Is there possibly a slightly different set of instructions here that are required?
