TLV320ADC6140: DOes Programmable Channel Gain will decrease SNR ?

Hi , i wanna know, is it will occured THD and SNR signal degradation, in case if i increase signal 3x time by Programmable Channel Gain in compare to using external high quality OPAMP with gain=3

    Andrey, 

    At lower gain levels the ADC noise will dominate, so while there will be some degradation,  it doesn't start to dominate until the 10-12dB range.  using external opamps could improve the noise there,  but it would definitely be a trade off of price versus performance.  

    There are also the Channel summing modes if you are not using all 4 channels.
