Dear Team,

My customer asked if the device can use 31.25kHz sampling frequency for this device. I can't see this freq supported on the datasheet, is it possible to use this freq?

    Caglar, 

    31.25khz is supported in autodetect Slave mode. The Autodetect would interpret it as 32k/29.4k mode but the true rate would depend on the clocks provided by the master. 

    Configuring the device for master mode would be more difficult, but still possible by telling the device that you had a 12.288Mzh MCLK but actually providing a 12Mhz clock and setting the rate to 32k. in that way you can "trick" the auto detect mode into doing 31.25khz
